Very interesting post. I do not have the time right now to read it all, but this caught my eyes :

The end of the State as we know it and the coming of age of a corporate-controlled countries. There is no need to believe in plots, nor to be a conspiracy nut: most of this was actually thought and implemented by some powerful people to gain more power and money.

It is a truth that is somehow widely accepted but not often studied in details. You might be interested by Steve Talbott’s essay “The future does not compute” (available on line at http://netfuture.org/fdnc/index.html ). This book deals primarily with something that seems completely unconnected to the subject of economy, but the chapter 9 “Things that run by themselves” is of interest when we talk of “the coming of age of a corporate-controlled countries” that happen without “plot” not “conspiracy” but just “happens to happen”.

As a side note, you should read the whole book, I’m sure it will be of interest to you.
