Wouter,

What the hell are you talking about?
By the way, how's your Sharepoint and Office business doing?

Charles,

do you feel that blogging is mature then? You choose this route over informing the TC. As an outsider it would appear that your arguments do not hold, that you know this, and that is the reason why you blog instead of discuss.
Seems rather childish to me.

ps. I too feel Rob is a very bad chair of this group. He is quite clearly not someone members believe in. He focuses on downplaying Open XML instead of focusing on ODF. Great chair. If he would have spent an equal amount of time writing normative text as he blogs, the spec would not be in such a poor state it is in now.

Doug,

What do you suggest that I do at the ODF TC? Bring up complaints against MS? Surely that's not a very mature way to handle our problem, isn't it?

Charles, if you really believe that "Microsoft members and its proxies were actively discussing and refusing everything that was on the agenda, delaying ODF 1.2 and demanding an a minima conformance level in an aggressive tone," then you should do the right thing and bring it up in the TC, so that the TC can decide what to do about it. I'll watch for your email to the TC on this matter.

Your insinuations about Dennis Hamilton are outrageous. Dennis is an extremely ethical hard-working individual, beholden to nobody. He and I often have frank disagreements on many topics, and he most definitely has never coordinated any of his statements in the ODF TC with me or anyone else at Microsoft.
